The primary goal of NextDMS is to provide mechanics with a comprehensive tool that facilitates appointment and client scheduling, replacement car management, among other functionalities.
The client for this project is NextLane, a European leader in developing digital solutions for the automotive industry. They offer end-to-end integrated software solutions that digitize and simplify the entire customer journey within the sector.
In this project, nazaríes was responsible for frontend development and project management. Our collaboration was crucial to ensure that the user interface is intuitive and efficient, providing an optimal user experience. Additionally, we worked closely with two other companies: Cívica, which handled backend development and DevOps operations, and IMAWEB, supporting both frontend and backend tasks.

The development of NextDMS has incorporated best practices and modern technologies to deliver a robust, high-quality product. Key technical features include:
SOLID Principles and Hexagonal Architecture
- We implemented SOLID design principles and a hexagonal architecture to ensure clean and maintainable code.
Automated Testing
- We integrated unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and automated linting to ensure code quality and reliability.
Unified Style and Syntax
- By using code checkers and stylization tools, we unified the code syntax and style, improving consistency and readability.
Monitoring and Caching
- We implemented response time and concurrency monitoring, along with caching in both the backend (Redis) and frontend, to optimize system performance.
Git Best Practices
- We maintained best practices for commit messages and utilized Git Flow with protected branches for dev and prod.
